So, with this update, Hotjar can now tag your survey responses for you.
No more messing about in Sheets or Excel tagging hundreds (or thousands) of responses manually.
Instead, go to your survey and turn on automated tags. You’ll be asked to enter some tags (like “bug” or “feature request”). Alternatively, you can choose from a list of commonly used ones.
AI will then analyze your existing responses and apply your chosen tags accordingly. And new responses will be tagged as they come in.
So you can get back to doing something more interesting, more creative, more human. Or you could do a bit more work—your call.
With this update, you’ll also be able to view a trend chart of tagged responses—let’s hope the “bug” line goes down over time.
