Do you want Hotjar to not collect your data?

At Hotjar we take your privacy very seriously. Access to your data is limited to the website owner and is processed and stored in a way to protect you and your information.

That said, we don’t want anyone feeling unsure of how their data is being handled and you can choose to opt-out of Hotjar by following the instructions below.

As an alternative, we recommend activating the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser by following the below instructions. This will also opt you out of similar services which use the “Do Not Track” setting to disable tracking.

How to install the Do Not Track header

  1. To opt-out, please go to Safari preferences (cmd + , or click "Safari" > "Preferences..." in the menu bar).
  2. Click on "Privacy".
  3. Tick the "Ask websites not to track me" checkbox.
